The Second Fashion's First Down Scored points and funds for Nexus Recovery Center and The Gatehouse on June 4th.  This year the event was moved to Starbase Jet to accomadate even more guests, the event which is organized by Candice Romo and the Dallas Cowboys Women's Association featured the artistry of Nha Khanh in a fashion show directed by Jan Strimple and styled by Kristin Smith of The Clad Life.  Jordan Payne Events planned the after party to perfection! 

I will never forget June 7th, 2014 when George Strait "The Cowboy Rides Away Tour" came through town. 105,000 people joined The King of Country at  AT&T Stadium.  At the very end of the night, thousands of balloons dropped and the crowd went wild.  I remember being both exciting and sad as the concert ended.  I have been a fan of George Strait forever and it was an honor to photograph his last concert!

This was his last stop on his very last tour.  Some people were crying as they left the stadium and some rejoiced, it was a wonderful crazy night!  I was contracted by George's assistant to photograph the after party at the Stadium.  Asleep at the Wheel played in the Legends club while all of the tour's support team danced and partied till after 3 am.  Alan Jackson, Kenny Chesney, Sheryl Crow, Miranda Lambert and Vince Gill just to name a few of the country stars I had the pleasure of shooting at the party.  It was an experience I will never forget! 

May 10, 2014 at the Ritz-Carlton Echelon DFW hosted their second annual gala to benefit The Salvation Army and Don and I  were there to capture all of the festivites!  Honary Chairs, Gene Jones and Charlotte Jones Anderson were among the guests. Back in 2010, Echelon was founded and now has over 500 young adult members. We were happy to donate our services to this amazing event and cannot wait for the next one! 

After the dinner the event moved to the next ballroom for the party!  Lots of dancing and fun to fill the night.

It was wonderful working with these amazing vendors to help Echelon DFW and The Salvation Army.  A Beautiful evening for a great cause!
